True - According to IMDB.com, the "Earth's Biggest Movie Database", Popeye - although credited with over 240 works - was never featured in a remake of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Using the same online database, you can see that there were a number of interesting remakes of the classic Christmas tale, including "An All Dogs Christmas Carol", "Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol", "Brer Rabbit's Christmas Carol", and the wildly popular (??), version called "Skinflint: A Country Christmas Carol" - which starred (among others) Hoyt Axton, Barbara Mandrell and Tom T. Hall!
