Licensed Home Inspector in Florida
If you are considering hiring a home inspector, you should make sure the individual is licensed. There are no licensed companies in Florida, the individual is required to be licensed, so verify the license. Each of our experienced Licensed Florida Home inspectors are Certified by FABI &/or ASHI or Internachi.
Additional FABI Certification
At Beach To Bayou, our inspectors go beyond licensing and are members of and certified by The Florida Association of Business Inspectors (FABI) which is the largest professional organization in Florida.
Both organizations require passing a written examination (see www.homeinspectionexam.org), and a minimum number of paid inspections as part of the membership application.
Annual membership maintenance for both organizations require a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education credits. Both organizations subscribe to the same Standards of Practice and similar Code of Ethics. These codes provide guidelines for inspections and professional conduct for an inspector.
Continuing Education
We take our profession seriously and support continuing education.
Each year, every home inspector working with Beach To Bayou continuously updates their education and enhances their skills, by attending professionally sponsored training seminars. With this background and training, I will stack the credentials of each of our inspectors against any other home inspector in the area.
If you are looking for a quality home inspection, ask if your inspector is accredited by FABI. If they are not, then you should find one who is.
Our training, background and business practice should provide you with the confidence you need to select Beach to Bayou as your preferred home inspector.
